Post-doctoral position in tumor metabolism and its role in therapy resistance

 

We have an open post-doctoral position and invite applications from outstanding candidates with a keen interest in studying the role of tumor metabolism in promoting therapy resistance, with a focus on radiation therapy. The project involves investigation of radiation-induced reprogramming of tumor metabolism with a focus on pancreatic cancer. The overall goal will be identification of molecular players that can be targeted for therapeutic benefit.

We are seeking a motivated and technically candidate with a strong background in mammalian tissue culture, molecular biology techniques, flow cytometry and some experience with mouse tumor models. Experience in data management and bioinformatics/computational data analysis is desired but not required. Effective communication skills, a strong work ethic, ability to work both independently and in a collaborative group environment are required. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree.
